This tour is designed for travelers who are looking for an overview of Nepal without strenuous hiking or camping, yet want to get out of urban areas into the countryside. The tour offers many opportunities for guided short day walks in rural areas with the options of returning by walk or van or car to the hotel.

For up to date public health information, go to www.cdc.gov and click on “travelers health” and select the county (Nepal). During November, mosquitoes are not common at low altitudes even in Pokhara or Chitwan because of cool nights. However, it is best to be prepared and I suggest everyone travel with repellent (Deet or Picaridin, etc.).
